  As your elected representative: 

• Grover voters approved the bond I introduced to fix residential streets.
• Grover  used less water than any other time when I was mayor
• Instituted gray water ordinance
• Recruited Ribline - 1st successful Beachfront restaurant
• Turned sewer plant from $1m/year losses to $1m/year revenue
• Sewer plant audit convicted CEO of self-dealing
• Stood up to cannabis dispensary corruption, leading to convictions.

VOLUNTEER  Past 12 months:

Helped GROVERH20, the 4,000 grassroots Grover Beach volunteers & citizens who exposed flaws in the Central Coast Blue Project, reversed city overcharges, got refunds for Grover Beach water customers, won a court ruling that the City’s Election Officer violated election law in blocking recalls, got the G24 REPEAL of Water & Sewer Rate Increases on the 2024 ballot, and is asking the people of Grover Beach if they wish to elect their city clerk.  

 As your Mayor I will:

· Bring socially, economically, & environmentally sustainable solutions to capture rain in times of plenty to cover drought years. 

· Back fiscal accountability and department audits every five years.

· Ensure your tax dollars are used wisely in the public interest.

· Elect, not appoint, council members. 

· Commit at least $1m from the general fund to streets annually.

· Enable Transparency in all government transactions

Make sure there’s enough parking at every new development.

· Ensure that the 2004 Vision of the People and the Local Coastal Plan are part of planning decisions.

· Return to functional IT systems for water rate and other online payments to the city link to local banks & provide detailed usage information on water & sewer bills.

· Preserve ocean-view corridors.

· Restore Grover Beach as a Tree City USA

Cesar Milan explained to me that calm confidence wins the day when we work together. I will:

· Return public comment to the beginning of council meetings 

· Honor the vision & voices of Grover Beach so our community is what we, the people, choose it to be. 

· Respond to your correspondence.

· Re-open City Hall on Fridays.

· Ensure there is in-person & phone cover 8-5 M-F in city departments. 

· Video record every public meeting. 

· Make sure the phone system works so those who can’t attend council, planning commission or parks & rec meetings can call in.
